The perfect hostess gift to accompany your wine!

If you are looking for an “add-on” gift to complement the lovely bottle of wine that you’re taking for your host or hostess, search no more. These Spicy Party Nuts are PERFECT! I like to keep them on hand to enjoy as a snack, or for that spicy-crunchy-sweet- salty accompaniment to a cocktail. They will easily keep for a couple of weeks in a tightly covered container.  This recipe is simple and delicious when prepared with a single type of nut but is even more enticing when you combine nut varieties! I have previously added whole blanched almonds, walnut halves, macadamia nuts, and shelled pistachios to the mix! I’ve not ever included peanuts – not because they wouldn’t be tasty, but because I don’t regard them as being particularly “special”. Add them if you love them! Now that I think about it, including some raw Spanish peanuts (with their nice red skins) could be an interesting addition to the recipe. Let your imagination and taste buds run wild! Creating is the fun of it! And you might want to double the recipe. I think you’ll find that they are deliciously addictive!
